- jonathon pitman Review added: 2018.09.01★ ★ ★ ★ ★Excellent place to take the kids on a sunny day. Loads to do just waste the day away in the beautiful castle grounds. Let the kids play in the parks. Feed the animals in the farm. Or hire a go kart. Take a pack lunch and look out for the wild deer just walking around. If you feel like something more active take a hike up to the ruins or swing from the trees at go ape. Been a few times now and never get bored. The best thing is that it's free you pay for parking. But for the amount of stuff you can do it's a bargain. You do have to pay for extra activities like the go karts or go ape. But I found it all reasonably priced.
